On no less than 3000 square meters, you will meet the largest covered mangrove area in the world. This is the natural habitat of seine cows, crabs, butterflies, birds and fish. The surprising landscape of Burgers Mangrove extends under a keel-shaped construction of 16 meters high.

New: Meet Xing Ya and Wu Wen in Pandasia in Ouwehands Dierenpark in Holland

Giant Panda’s Xing Ya and Wu Wen are now in the Netherlands for more than three months. Pandasia was built especially for them.
Pandasia, the giant panda enclosure consists of two parts: a separate indoor area and outdoor area for Xing Ya and Wu Wen.

The “Pandasia” project was built according to traditional Chinese style. To make it authentic, the design includes various Chinese elements, ornaments and accessories. It costs 7 million euros to build this beautiful panda residence.
